Can't find what you're looking for? Give us a call — we're happy to help.
This is the most important thing to understand when booking. It comes down to your group size — and it's a legal distinction, not just a pricing one.
Full-Service Charter (up to 6 guests): The signature Stuart Sailing experience. We provide everything — complimentary drinks, snacks, ice, coolers, and a fully hosted day. You just show up and enjoy. We take care of the details so you can focus on making memories.
Larger-Group Charter (up to 13 guests — 12 + charterer): For groups over 6, the charter operates as a vessel rental. You bring your own food, drinks, cooler, and ice — for groups over 6, provisioning is on you. The structure here is different by design and involves separate paperwork at booking. Give us a call and we'll walk you through exactly how it works.
This distinction is required by maritime regulations governing passenger vessel operations. Both options are incredible — just structured differently. Not sure which is right for you? Give us a call and we'll help you figure it out.
LunaCat, our 2019 Lagoon 42 catamaran, can comfortably accommodate up to 13 guests (12 plus the charterer). Groups of 1–6 enjoy our full-service charter experience with complimentary provisions. For groups over 6, the charter operates as a vessel rental where you bring your own provisions. Both options are fully private — you'll never share the boat with strangers.
The best way to book is to call or text us at (561) 801-0080. We love talking through what you have in mind and tailoring the experience to your group. You can also send us a message through our website or email us at stuartsailingcharters@gmail.com. We'll discuss dates, group size, and what kind of experience you're looking for, then lock everything in.
For a full-service charter (up to 6 guests), we provide drinks, snacks, and everything you need. Just bring yourself, sunscreen, a towel, and maybe a camera. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that can get wet.
For a larger-group charter (up to 13 guests), you'll want to bring your own cooler with ice, food, and beverages. We recommend also bringing sunscreen, towels, a change of clothes, and any personal items you'd like for the day.
For both: non-marking, soft-soled shoes are recommended on the boat. Sunglasses with a strap are a great idea. And don't forget your sense of adventure!
We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair:
Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a fee. If we need to cancel due to weather or safety conditions, you'll receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.
We always try to work with you. If something comes up, just give us a call and we'll do our best to find a solution.
Absolutely — sunset sails are one of our most popular experiences. There's something truly special about watching the sun dip below the horizon from the water. Sunset sail times vary by season to align with golden hour. It's a perfect option for a romantic evening, a small celebration, or just a beautiful end to the day. Call or text us to check availability for your preferred date.
It depends on your charter type. For full-service charters (up to 6 guests), we provide complimentary drinks and snacks. You're welcome to bring additional items if you'd like — just let us know so we can make room.
For larger-group charters (up to 13 guests), you are responsible for bringing all your own food, drinks, cooler, and ice. This is a great opportunity to customize your provisions exactly how you want them — bring your favorite beverages, pack a charcuterie board, order catering, whatever suits your group.
Safety is always our top priority. We monitor weather conditions closely leading up to every charter. If conditions are unsafe — high winds, storms, rough seas — we'll reach out to you in advance to discuss options. You can choose to reschedule to another date at no extra cost, or receive a full refund.
Light rain or overcast skies don't necessarily mean a bad day on the water — sometimes those conditions create the most beautiful experiences. We'll always be upfront with you about what to expect and give you the final say.
Yes! Special occasions are one of our favorite things. We've helped with proposals, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, corporate events, celebrations of life, and more. We work closely with you to plan every detail — from timing and decorations to music and special surprises.
Our proposal packages are especially popular. We can coordinate the perfect moment at sunset, help with photography arrangements, and even keep the champagne on ice for when they say yes. Check out our Special Occasions page for more details, or call us to start planning.
We sail the beautiful waters of Florida's Treasure Coast, departing from Stuart, Florida. Our routes take in the St. Lucie Inlet, the Indian River Lagoon, and the open Atlantic — depending on conditions, your preferences, and the type of experience you're after.
Popular destinations include hidden sandbars, the inlet, and offshore waters for open-ocean sailing. Your captain knows these waters intimately and will choose the best route for your group based on the wind, tides, and what you want to see and do. Every trip is different — that's part of the magic.
Don't hesitate to reach out. We love talking about sailing and we're here to help you plan the perfect experience.
